From March 18th to the 22nd 2015, Cimatheque is holding "Kurrasat Al Cimatheque"'s third intensive training session. This workshop's curriculum is developed and moderated by Rima Mismar. The workshop will take place everyday from 4PM until 9PM in weekdays and 2PM until 9PM in weekends, followed by the public screening and discussions curated and presented by Rima, at Zawya Cinema.

The sessions are dedicated to creative and critical writing as well as discussions around films, film analysis and different methods of reading films. Participants are encouraged to experiment with writing, developing their own style and creative approach through a variety of different exercises.

The training sessions include:

A general introduction about the various stages in creative writing process: taking notes, making an outline, finding and researching a topic, making interviews, integrating technical details into the analysis and redrafting for sharper style.

• Intensive creative writing session
• Discussions held around the films screened publicly in the evening
• Discussions around the articles produced by the participants during the workshop
• Different exercises on preparing and practicing various techniques for an interview and reading inspiring interviews with Ella Suleiman, Bela Tarr, Carlos Reygadas and Jean Michel Fordon
• Final wrap-up and evaluation session.
