Baheega and Hassan Rashid are respectively a children’s song composer/folk music researcher (Baheega) and an opera composer (Hassan).  The family of Rashid donated this collection to Cimatheque in June 2012. The collection spans late 1920s Cairo and Alexandria and extends until the early 1960s with more footage of Cairo, specifically the Shooting Club as well as trips to Syria, Lebanon and Switzerland.  Upon inspection, the collection includes: 

• Approximately 60 9.5 and 16mm home movies and short commercial films (produced by Pathe Baby mainly)
