The Library

The library at Cimatheque entails books in Arabic, English and other languages covering different facets of film related topics including production, screenwriting, directing, as well as history, theory and a lot more. In our specialized book selection, there is a subsection on Romanian and Czech cinema. The entire collection is catalogued and accessible online and onsite. A wide array of both older and contemporary periodicals are presented, including a number of well-known Arabic publications such as: The Egyptian Association for Film, Cine-club, Cinema and theatre magazine and more. The DVD collection likewise features a mix of classic, essential works and alternative, experimental films, made available for onsite viewing.
