Hussein Helmy Mohandes was a prominent director, writer, and professor who was known for his directing and script writing. He was also the former President of the Cinema Syndicate and also taught script writing and directing at the Egyptian High Cinema Institute. Al Mohandes’ collection was acquired by Cimatheque in 2013 and it includes: 

• A collection of approximately 20 scripts, with their notes

• Hundreds of personal papers

• Unidentified analog film collection 16 and 8mm
