Celebrating
the 50th anniversary of the Third World Filmmakers Meeting, held in
Algiers, 1973, The American University in Cairo will be holding Third
World Cinema international conference, inviting key filmmakers and
archivists, shedding light on untold stories of the third cinema.

In light of the conference, Cimatheque is happy to collaborate with the
American University in Cairo and host the screenings of:

Mortu Nega by Flora Gomez (7PM December 3rd)

Sambizanga by Sarah Maldoror (7PM December 4th)

as part of the Third Cinema Conference.
